The Forest native helped the Cowboys to the national semifinals in his senior season in 2019 and has since turned pro.

Oklahoma State graduate Zach Bauchou and a pair of Liberty golfers were named honorable mentions on the PING All-America team, announced Friday by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

Bauchou, a Forest native who has turned pro since graduation, helped lead the Cowboys to the NCAA national semifinals. He was also an honorable-mention selection for Golfweek’s All-America team. He had one win, 11 top fives and 18 top-10 finishes in his career at OSU.

Liberty graduate Gabe Lench and rising senior Ervin Chang became the second and third All-Americans in program history.

Lench was the first player in program history to advance to the final day of stroke play at the national championships and finished in a tie for 24th. Chang was named the Atlantic Sun Conference men’s golf scholar-athlete of the year and male student-athlete of the year.
