Campbell wide receiver Caleb Snead was named to the HERO Sports FCS freshman All-American first team.

The Heritage High product was a finalist for the STATS FCS Jerry Rice Award, given to the FCS freshman of the year, and was named first team all-Big South Conference.

Snead’s 810 receiving yards and nine touchdown receptions led all FCS freshmen, and his touchdown grab total tied a Big South freshman record.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff’s DeJuan Miller and James Madison’s Kyndel Dean were the other first-team wide receiver selections.
