Micah Glaize, a rising senior at Brookville High School, verbally committed to Liberty on Saturday afternoon prior to the Turner Gill Football Camp’s Saturday Night Lights at Williams Stadium.

Glaize becomes the fourth player from the Class of 2019 to verbally commit to the Flames, joining kicker Jason Stricker, wide receiver C.J. Yarbrough and quarterback Johnathan Bennett.
Glaize had another FBS offer from Old Dominion, and FCS programs James Madison, Delaware, Elon and Norfolk State also extended offers to him.
The 6-foot-3, 188-pound Glaize is a two-way standout for the Bees. He earned first-team VHSL Class 3 all-state honors at wide receiver after leading the Lynchburg area with 1,108 receiving yards to go with 55 receptions and 14 touchdowns.
He also earned first-team all-state honors as an all-purpose defensive player after posting 34 solo tackles, 18 assisted tackles, eight pass deflections and five tackles for a loss.
