Beverly Windsor was born July, 8, 1943, the youngest daughter of Robert and Jean Margetts of Kettering, Ohio. She was educated in Kettering Public Schools and graduated from Fairmont High School in 1961. After high school, she enrolled at Capital University and later graduated from John Brown University. She was married to Carl Windsor on June 15, 1969, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Kettering, Ohio. Together, they had three children, Trent Matthew, Todd Michael, and Heather Jean, and seven grandchildren. Beverly was employed for a number of years as a sign language interpreter for deaf students at Liberty University. She also served as a volunteer deaf interpreter for Thomas Road Baptist Church and had many friends among the deaf in Central Virginia. She and her husband were active members of Living Word Baptist Church in Forest, Va. A memorial service for Beverly will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2019, at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg with the Rev. Matthew Short officiating.
