Patricia Jean Scott Johnson, 72, of Brookneal, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of Emmett Johnson Jr. "Bunny". Patricia was born in Campbell County, on January 7, 1947, a daughter of the late Charles S. Scott "Bill" and Joseline Daniel Scott "Jo". She was a member of Falling River Baptist Church, the Red Hat Society and a retired employee of Central Virginia Community Services. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Christopher S. Johnson (Cindy), and Gregory A. Johnson, all of Brookneal; a daughter, Danielle J. Watts (Jason) of Altavista; six grandchildren, Tyler Johnson, Kyle Johnson, Britney Watts, Daniel Watts, Carrington Johnson, and Aiden Johnson; two sisters, Jere Scott, and JoAnn Winn (William), all of Madison Heights; a brother, David Scott (Mary Helen) of Toano; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles S. Scott Jr. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2019, at Falling River Baptist Church by the Rev. Tim Lane and the Rev. Brian Warren with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2019, at Henderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Brookneal and at the residence of Chris and Cindy Johnson other times.
