Construction workers continue to rehabilitate the Charles Sweeney cabin at the Appomattox Court House National Historical Park on Friday. The cabin is known for its connection to Joel Walker Sweeney, who was famous for making the modern five-string banjo popular in the 1800s and who often would stay with a relative at the cabin. The restoration project for the cabin began in January. For more photos, go online to NewsAdvance.com.
