From the high bar to the balance beam, six children between the ages of 4 and 9 tested out their gymnastics skills, Tuesday morning at Pure Gymnastics in Lynchburg. "It's very beginning gymnastics" Tim Kappel, co-owner Pure Gymnastics said. Over the course of the camp, kids receive instruction in gymnastics, including successfully hanging from a high bar, testing their balance on a very low bar, and climbing as well as play times, where they're free to practice their skills. Kappel said the program teaches kids coordination and discipline, which they can take to any sport they might play in the future.
