Amherst County residents are invited to a town hall event hosted by U.S. Rep. Ben Cline, R-6th District, on Wednesday, May 29, in Monroe.
The meeting is set to begin at 6 p.m. at the Amherst-Monroe Ruritan Club, 115 Bruner Road. Amherst residents may sign up for the event by visiting the events calendar at Cline.house.gov/about/events/ and selecting “Amherst County Town Hall.”
“As with my previous town hall meetings across the [district], this town hall will allow me to engage with Amherst County residents and take their views to Washington,” Cline said in a statement.
Amherst County residents will be given priority regarding comments during the meeting. Signs and noisemakers are prohibited.
