Lincoln was born on June 3, 1939, in Woodson, Virginia, as one of the eight children of the late Theodore and Mary Campbell Cash. He lived in the Woodson/Lowesville area of Amherst all of his life until declining health led him to his time in Oakwood Health & Rehab in Bedford, Virginia, where he resided at the time of his death. The mountains were his home and he and Regina spent many hours riding through them after her retirement. He was a member of Piney River Baptist Church. The family would like to especially thank the devoted and caring staff at Oakwood Health & Rehab who always provided conscientious care filled with kindness to Lincoln during his last illness. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, from 6:30 until 8 p.m., at the Byrum-Parr Funeral Home.
