Robert "Bobby" Michael Fariss departed this life to set out on a new journey on June 3, 2019. Bobby was born on October 20, 1978, in Charlottesville, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his Papa who raised him like a son, Robert F. Driggs, his Nanny Adeline Driggs; and his stepfather, George Fariss. He is survived by his loving mother, Cheryl Terrell, whom held his heart; sister, Amanda Snead and her husband, Michael Snead, of Lovingston. He held the special title to being Uncle to Autumn, Mikey, and Morgan Snead, all of Lovingston. Also surviving are his aunt, Debbie Riddle and her children, Rodney Riddle, Brittany Villwock, and Brandy Riddle; and little cousins, Landon, Braden, Ben, Trevor, and Sydney. Bobby is also survived by his cat and best friend, "Wally". Bobby worked in the library systems in Charlottesville and Maryland where he made friends. His love for sports took him all over the United States from Keswick Black Cat Boys to Paco Rodriguez the baseball player. His love for San Francisco Giants lead to many a ball field. The family of Bobby would like to thank Dr. Matthew Reilley and his team at the Pantops Cancer Center and the Hospice team at Northridge. He was an awesome person in every aspect of life. Know that Bobby is at peace now and his cancer did not define him, cause he did it anyway. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019, starting at 3 p.m. at 11562 Thomas Nelson Highway, Lovingston, VA 22949. Come casual.
