UPDATE: Nelly's Wok in Nellysford will not close permanently.

On June 21 Nelly’s Wok announced on its Facebook page that it would close permanently. On June 27, owner Walter Slawski said the Facebook post was a mistake. He did not identify the person who made the Facebook post.

Slawski said he and co-owner Todd Shue, plan on re-opening but would not say when or how long the closure would last. The Facebook post has since been removed.

"We are just re-grouping, tweaking the concept a bit, and plan on re-opening soon," Slawski said on June 27.

Slawski did have a definite timeline and did not have a comment on the details they are ironing out before re-opening to the public.  

EARLIER: Nelly’s Wok in Nellysford has closed its doors permanently after two months.

On June 21 Nelly’s Wok announced on its Facebook page that it will be closed permanently. A Facebook post from Nelly’s Wok Facebook page read, “We are sad to say that Nelly’s Wok will be closing permanently. We are thankful for the experience and loved engaging with such a great community. Thank you!!”

Owners Walter Slawski and Todd Shue did not return calls seeking comment.
