The project includes reconstruction of the roadway and construction of a shared use path for pedestrian and bicycle travel, as well as lighting and landscaping. During construction, flaggers will assist motorists. The hearing will be held in an "open house" format and VDOT representatives will be present to answer questions. Review project information, including environmental documents in the form of a Programmatic Categorical Exclusion at the public hearing or after the hearing at VDOT's Lynchburg District Office located at 4219 Campbell Avenue in the City of Lynchburg.
