Join Poplar Forest for a day focused on the family, including hands-on activities, scavenger hunts and demonstrations. June 15th features the theme of Exploring Plantation Trades, which includes spinning and weaving demonstrations, wool carding and processing demonstrations, bucket making, basket making, and cord making. Take-home crafts include place-mat weaving, make-your-own cord and other cut-and-paste crafts.

Admission fees: $16 for adults; $14 for seniors (ages 65+) and military (must show ID); $8 for college students (must show ID) and teens (ages 12-18); $4 for youth (ages 6-11); and free for children under age 6 and Poplar Forest members.
