Iron & Ale Bistro to open at River Ridge mall

A new restaurant, Iron & Ale Bistro, will open at River Ridge mall next month.

The 800-square-foot eatery will be located across from SeaQuest in the mall and will feature selections from the menu of the original Iron & Ale location in Cornerstone plus new items, according to an announcement Wednesday by the mall.

The restaurant will offer full service with table seating and a bar, plus quick-service counter ordering.

“It will be the perfect complement to provide food and beverages to the thousands of people that come to River Ridge to enjoy SeaQuest and the newly renovated interior of the mall. We also look forward to serving guests as they take a break from shopping, or may be waiting to catch a movie,” said Kyle Young, who owns Iron & Ale along with Wade and Sarah Johnson and Michael Serro.

“Guests can enjoy a nice meal in front of the new big screen or in front of the brand-new double-sided fireplace. The bistro will include seating for guests to sip on a hand-crafted cocktail, beer, or a glass of wine.”

Iron & Ale’s website describes the Cornerstone restaurant as having a “progressive American menu” including burgers, salads, sandwiches and chicken, seafood, beef and pork dishes, among other items.{/span}

The addition of the bistro comes as River Ridge mall is undergoing a two-year, $20 million redevelopment that will include a new sporting goods retailer and new entertainment spaces.
