Manufacturing firm names two new VPs

MRT Manufacturing recently promoted two employees to vice president.

Bob Dray has been named vice president of sales and marketing.

MRT is the parent company of Forestry Equipment of Virginia, where Dray has been the director of sales and marketing for the past five years.

Dray will continue with marketing and selling the FEVA line of bucket trucks, but now will oversee the responsibilities for the other MRT companies as well.

MRT also promoted Carla Hart to vice president of operations. She will be taking on the responsibility as VP of operations for all of the MRT companies.

Hart came to MRT a little more than a year ago with more than 25 years of experience in the information technology industry and business development fields.

Bank mortgage firm hires VP-loan officer

Bank of James Mortgage, a division of Bank of the James, has added Bianca K. Allison as vice president and mortgage loan officer.

Allison has 25 years of service in the mortgage industry and has won numerous top producer awards during her career. She is a native of Lynchburg and earned an A.A.S. degree in banking and finance from Central Virginia Community College.

A graduate of the Lynchburg Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Lynchburg program, Allison also has served on numerous boards and committees in the community as a volunteer.
