Lucas Sims has spent the better part of the 2014 season refining his mechanics. Some may ask why change the mechanics after showing so much potential with a fantastic season last year in Rome?

The answer is simple. Sims knew that in order to keep moving up the ladder and eventually pitching in the Majors, he needed to fix the flaws in his mechanics that Major League hitters look for and exploit. The results have been mixed throughout the season with a solid start here and a rocky outing there.
