Jerrell Jordan, who graduated from Copiah Lincoln Junior College in Wesson, Miss., on Thursday, will sign a full scholarship to continue his football career at Cincinnati this Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Subway in downtown Altavista.

The former Colonels football and basketball standout, who won a Group A, Division 2 state football title at Gretna his freshman year and a Division 1 football crown at Altavista his junior season in 2009, captured a third state championship ring this fall. The Wolfpack’s defensive player of the year led them to their first Mississippi Association of Community Junior Colleges (MACJC) state title since 1985 with a 41-37 victory over Mississippi Gulf Coast on Nov. 10.
