Jarell Eddie is an emotional player, something that’s easily evident when watching him play basketball. He’s also a player who is extremely hard on himself, something that came to a boil during his worst two-game stretch since becoming a full-time starter.
As the missed shots piled up Saturday against Georgia Tech, the frustration on Eddie’s face grew. That disgruntlement finally came to a head when early in the second half, he was whistled for a touch foul away from the ball, went to the bench and slammed a water bottle to the ground, forcing a stoppage in play once the contents of the bottle spilled all over the Cassell Coliseum floor.
