An Endorsement: For Lieutenant Governor, Northam is the Choice

Part of the job of governing, of leading, is the ability to build consensus between people who disagree, to reach across the aisle to reach compromises, to see one’s opponents as people you just disagree with, not as enemies to be slain. 

In the race for lieutenant governor between Republican E.W. Jackson and Democrat Ralph Northam, only Northam has exhibited those traits. And only Northam, a state senator from Norfolk and a pediatric neurologist, is qualified to be Virginia’s lieutenant governor.
