Linda Sullivan Linda Sue Sullivan-wild, wonderful, wacky woman-formerly of Roanoke, VA, passed away at her home in Lynchburg, VA, Saturday morning, November 23, 2013. She was 60 years old. Linda is survived by her husband, Glenn Sullivan; her two sons, Matthew Sullivan and Noah Sullivan; her mother, Barbara Holdren; and her three brothers, Stephen Holdren, Michael Holdren and Jeffrey Holdren. Linda worked for many years at the Central Virginia Training Center as a teacher and program manager. She later worked with the Lynchburg Literacy Council, the continuing education program at Randolph College, and volunteered at the Johnson Health Center. A creative soul, Linda was a talented musician, singer, songwriter, artist, and master gardener. Linda was deeply concerned with the lives of others and was known and loved by many in the Lynchburg community for her friendship and compassion. The family is very grateful for the care received from Sarah Southerland, Centra Hospice, and Duke Medical Center. A celebration of Linda's life will take place at the Church of the Covenant, 4415 Boonsboro Road, Lynchburg, VA, on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at 2 p.m. The family suggests that those wishing to make memorials consider the Citizens for Adult Literacy and Learning in Amherst County or the Lynchburg Literacy Council.

    Dear Glenn,

I was sad to learn of Linda's passing, but clearly she was loved on this earth and she made a tremendous difference during her short 60 years. My prayers are with you and all of the family. Linda is healthy now with the Lord, and what a blessing it must have been for her to have the dedication of her family and especially a loving, caring husband who clearly adored her. I know you'll miss her; take care. Susan Jones
