Sheriff: Big Island man charged after mobile meth lab found

A man faces drug charges after authorities in Appomattox found a meth lab Friday night, Sheriff Barry Letterman said.

Chester Lee Hickman, Jr., a 47-year-old from Big Island was pulled over by a deputy on U.S. 460 late Friday, Letterman said. When the deputy approached the 1981 Chevrolet pickup, he noticed evidence of potential drug production inside the vehicle.
