Leaders at LU, LC, other Va. colleges criticize Obama ratings proposal

Following the lead of other states, 50 college leaders in Virginia have joined forces to express their dislike of President Obama’s proposed college ranking system.

“I call it robbing from the poor and giving to the rich,” Kenneth Garren, president of Lynchburg College said this week. “It’s a reverse Robin Hood.”
