If you read over Martin Neary’s resume in advance, you might expect a certain stuffiness when meeting him in person — or, in my case, over the telephone.

This is, after all, a man who has been recognized as one of the leading organists and choral directors in the world, a musician who has been on close personal terms with England’s Royal Family, holder of a doctorate and a member of the Royal Victorian Order.
