Best-selling author Barbara Kingsolver will speak about her latest novel, “Flight Behavior,” at 8 p.m. March 21 at Sweet Briar College in Murchison Lane Auditorium in the college’s Babcock Fine Arts Center.

The reading is part of the school’s 2013 Waxter Environmental Forum. Kingsolver interviewed Sweet Briar research professor Lincoln Brower, an expert on monarch butterflies, while researching her book. “Flight Behavior” uses a monarch butterfly migration and its impact on a community to explore the issue of climate change.
