Lynchburg's growth fueled by Liberty, Wyndhurst, Cornerstone

Over the past decade, more than 75 percent of Lynchburg’s population growth has occurred in less than one-third of the city.

Census tracts covering Liberty University, Wyndhurst and Cornerstone have all experienced a population boom, according to the 2010 census results, raking in thousands of new residents apiece.
