The Lynchburg housing market is entering its peak summer season coming off a strong first quarter and riding the heels of year-over-year improvements in most key measurements during 2012.
Data from the Lynchburg Association of Realtors show an increase in number of homes sold and a decrease in days on the market for the first quarter. Selling prices dropped slightly at the beginning of 2013 compared to the previous year, but the year-to-date numbers show prices have turned the corner and begun to climb upward.
