Thomas Jefferson’s Poplar Forest is recruiting volunteers to join the Bedford County retreat and historic landmark.

Volunteers can welcome visitors, staff the museum shop, perform tours, help with events and work in the hands-on history center. The nonprofit corporation operating the site is looking for volunteers interested in history, archaeology and historic preservation and who enjoy working with adults and children.
