Political pundit talks about governor's race to Randolph College crowd

Virginia’s race for governor has a feature most pundits have never seen before — both major candidates are hugely unpopular, political expert Larry Sabato told a Randolph College audience Thursday night.

“We have the oddest of odd couples running” in Democrat Terry McAuliffe and Republican Ken Cuccinelli, said Sabato, who is director of the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics and one of the nation’s most-quoted pundits.
