LU breaks ground on medical school some 40 years in the making

As they looked out from Candlers Mountain, Liberty University and community leaders gathered Friday to break ground for its new Center for Health and Medical Sciences.

“Today is a historic day here at Liberty,” Chancellor Jerry Falwell Jr. said during the ceremony.
