In Lynchburg, McAuliffe calls for reform of SOL tests

Democrat Terry McAuliffe told a roomful of Lynchburg education advocates Wednesday that, as governor, he would improve public schools instead of giving some of them failing grades.

McAuliffe only briefly criticized Republican candidate Ken Cuccinelli’s focus on allowing parents to choose their schools.
