Rustburg is making history in the Dixie Youth Virginia All-Star O-Zone tournament as two of their players have gotten into the record books with the swing of a bat.

Josh Walker started the action off for Rustburg as he slammed two home runs against Montgomery County on Saturday during Rustburg’s 6-5 win. Walker became the first player in O-Zone history to nail two homers in a single game.

Haley Lakes got into the action in Game 2 on Sunday as she became the first female to homer in an O-Zone game. Her home run came in Rustburg’s 13-12 edging over North Roanoke.
