NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — Norfolk police say former Virginia Tech quarterback Marcus Vick is being charged with driving under the influence and eluding police for a traffic stop early Friday morning.

Police said in a news release that shortly after 2 a.m. a uniformed bicycle patrol officer observed the 24-year-old Vick and a female sitting in a vehicle, involved in an altercation. When the officer asked for a driver’s license, police say Vick sped away and was stopped minutes later.

Vick failed a field sobriety test and was charged with DUI, misdemeanor eluding police, reckless driving and driving on a suspended license. The passenger, 24-year-old Delicia Cordon of Miami, Florida, was charged with being drunk in public.

Vick was released by the Miami Dolphins in 2007 and is the brother of former Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick.

Tell freedom that Michael tortured the dogs. Not Marcus.  But they are both losers. Not a lot of people have their opportunities.  And theey seem to blow theirs.  What a shame!

The Vick brothers sure set bad examples for the young people of today. They both should just fade away, go flip burgers somewhere.
