The Hillcats’ series finale with the Keys was rained out Sunday. The teams will make up the game as part of a doubleheader in Frederick next weekend.
Lynchburg (15-20) wrapped up the longest homestand in Hillcats history with a 5-7 record. The team is currently in last place in the Carolina League’s Northern Division.
The Hillcats are on the road for 15 of their next 18 games. They begin an eight-game road trip today, starting in Winston-Salem. The team is there for four games before traveling to Frederick for four more.
Lynchburg returns home on May 20 for a three-game series against Salem.
