Va. sends hundreds to help with Ike relief

Hundreds of Virginians have joined the massive effort to clean up in the wake of Hurricane Ike.
Dominion Virginia Power has sent about 480 workers to help utility crews restore power throughout the gulf region.
The Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries has sent 21 people and 19 boats to Jennings, La., to support the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.
The Virginia Department of Forestry has sent 30 members of an incident management team to support the Texas Forest Service.
And a number of Virginia localities have deployed personnel and equipment to help deal with the hurricane at the local and federal levels.
