RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Virginia’s largest police organization has endorsed Democrat Mark Warner for the U.S. Senate.
Warner is opposed by another former governor, Republican Jim Gilmore, in November’s election.
According to Warner’s campaign, this marks the first time the Virginia Fraternal Order of Police has endorsed a Democrat for statewide office in a federal election since the organization began making endorsements in 1985.
The organization credited Warner with steering Virginia through difficult financial times without jeopardizing public safety.

Who’s BSing who? With a 1.4 billion dollar tax increase “I” could steer Virginia through difficult financial times. Best Managed State - what a farce - only Warner is a much bigger joke. Way to go Warner - let your buddy Tim Kaine dig his arse out of your mess. The state of Virginia can ill afford you or Kaine.
