Roanoke soldier killed in Iraq

A Roanoke soldier stationed in Iraq has been killed in a vehicle accident.
The Pentagon this afternoon said Staff Sgt. David W. Textor, 27, died Tuesday in Mosul.
Additional details about the nature of the accident were not immediately available.
The Pentagon said the death is being investigated.
Textor was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), Fort Lewis, Wash.
