RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — The publisher of the graduate business school entrance test has thrown out the scores of 84 people who used a Web site to cheat on the exam.
The Graduate Management Admission Council said Wednesday it has notified the 84 prospective or current students about the cancellation of their Graduate Management Admission Test scores.
An investigation of scores from 2004 to 2007 found that 12 people posted live GMAT questions on Scoretop.com and will be barred from retaking the test for at least three years. The other 72 posted messages on Scoretop.com confirming that they saw items from the site on their GMAT; they will be allowed to retake the exam.
The council also sent out notices to more than 100 business schools that received the students’ test scores.

“Do you think Jerry Falwell let the fact that all he had to sell was hot air stop him from making millions”
It is amazing how you will use any story, no matter how unrelated, to to drag Jerry Falwell’s name through the mud. Why don’t you try staying on topic next time?

WHAT is the matter with the MBA Testing Council? They are throwing out the scores of the MOST qualified people to “make it” in business today! THEY were the ones who “found” a way to succeed. THEY are the future CEO’s of American business. NOBODY in business plays by the rules if they can find a way around them. With a “Testing Council” like this it isn’t any wonder that American business falls farther and farther behind in the world every day. Do you think Jerry Falwell let the fact that all he had to sell was hot air stop him from making millions? What next?
