Thumbs up to Alease Brown, the founder and president of the Fort Hill Neighborhood Watch Association.
Brown co-founded the group 25 years ago because she was concerned about her neighbors and friends, her neighborhood and city. This year, she’s stepping down and was recently honored by city and police department officials.
This city — this country, really — needs more people like Ms. Brown, to whom we say thanks for a job well done.
