Thumbs up to the 11 women to be honored Oct. 30 by the YWCA of Central Virginia for their dedication to the local community and for their professional achievements. The honorees are Mary Ann Racin, Barbara Franz, Renata Allbeck, Amy Ruth Allen, Patty Worsham, Terri Brennan, Marybeth Hillmer, Carolyn Jacques, Liz Eklund and Carolyn Bell.
From medicine to education, the honorees run the gamut. We’re fortunate they count Central Virginia as their home.
