GLEANING FOR THE WORLD COLLECTS SUPPLIES AT THOMAS ROAD BAPTIST CHURCH: Kevin Mahan (left) of Liberty University’s Campus SERVE, hands over donated water to Steve Bryant, of Gleaning For The World Inc., on Wednesday in the parking lot of Thomas Road Baptist Church. Gleaning For The World, founded by Ron Davidson, took donations and goods that will be sent to vicitms of this season’s hurricanes. Supplies that were collected at TRBC will soon depart to Healing Christ Church in Baton Rouge, La. Gleaning For The World, according to Davidson, has sent between $300,000 and $400,000 worth of supplies to the Gulf this storm season. ‘This year we actually planned for the hurricane season,’ Davidson said.
