VDOT says the below incident has been cleared and normal operations have resumed.
Earlier:
The Virginia Department of Transportation reports:
“On US-460 (Richmond Hwy) in the County of Appomattox, in the vicinity of Rt. 647N/S (Appomattox County), motorists can expect potential delays due to a vehicle accident. The east left lane and right lane are closed. Eastbound traffic is being diverted onto Route 689 and back to Route 460. “
