Montvale man faces drug charges

A Montvale man was arrested Thursday after deputies found weapons and drugs in his house, authorities said.
Bedford County deputies searched the house of Aaron Neil Moody at 1658 Mountain View Church Road in Montvale, according to a press release. Investigators found two long guns, three hand guns, one bullet-proof vest, three pounds of marijuana, methamphetamine, $3,500 and two vehicles.
Moody was arrested on two counts of possession of firearm while in possession of certain controlled substances and two counts of manufacturing, selling, distributing or possessing with the intent to distribute a controlled substance. The press release said more charges are pending.
Moody was transported to the Blue Ridge Regional Jail.
