Lynchburg’s Rolling Thunder gives D-Day Memorial $1,000

The Lynchburg chapter of Rolling Thunder, an organization that supports veterans, is giving the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford $1,000.
Members of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, a fraternal organization performing civic duties, also presented a $5,000 check to the memorial last weekend.
Rolling Thunder’s check presentation is set for 3 p.m. Dec. 6 at the memorial.
