A judge denied bond today for the Lynchburg man that prosecutors allege shot a Campbell Avenue gas station clerk in a robbery last month.
Kionne Lyndale Pulley, 20, is charged with robbery, aggravated malicious wounding, and two firearms charges in the April 24 hold-up of a CITGO gas station that left its clerk, Abderrahin Elfilali, critically injured.
After Pulley’s unsuccessful attempt to get a $5,000 bond, he slammed a courtroom door and made obscene gestures toward a television camera.
Five juveniles are also charged with armed robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a robbery. Four of them face charges of aggravated malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a malicious wounding while three face charges of wearing a mask in public in the commission of a felony.
Prosecutors said today they believe Pulley is the one who shot Elfilali.
While Pulley is the only adult charged, prosecutors are seeking to try the juveniles as adults as well.
