Higher-ed agency launches online financial-aid site

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — The agency that oversees Virginia’s colleges and universities has created an online site that offers information about federal and state financial aid.
The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia says the blog is an informal forum for students, parents and education officials to ask questions and gather information about financial-aid opportunities.
SCHEV staff members will monitor the site, post information, provide links to financial-aid resources and respond to user questions and comments.
