The Lynchburg convenience store clerk shot last month was discharged from Lynchburg General Hospital on Thursday, according to a hospital spokesperson.
Abderrahin Elfilali was taken to the hospital with critical inju-ries after he was shot during the April 24 robbery at the Citgo station at 3618 Campbell Ave.
Elfilali had been listed as critical for nearly a week after he was shot, but his condition had been improving recently.
He was discharged Thursday, the spokesperson said.
Six suspects in the case have already been arrested and charged in the robbery.
Five of the suspects were juveniles, but the Lynchburg Com-monwealth’s Attorney’s office plans to try all six as adults.

I do not know this person however I am so happy that he is doing better and is recovering after his terrible experience. I am sure he will never forget his horrible episode however I am hoping that in time it will become more of a blur in his mind. God bless him.
