Campbell County announced its new library director Thursday.
Nan Brunson Carmack will replace Linda Owen, who recently retired from the county after serving as its library director for seven years.
Carmack was the marketing and events coordinator for the Bedford Public Library System and once owned a book store in Forest, said a Campbell County news release.
She is a native of Campbell County and graduated from Brookville High School.
