The Campbell County School Board is scheduled to meet this evening where members will receive a draft of the division’s comprehensive plan.

“The comprehensive plan is our plan for instruction for the next two years,” said John Erb, assistant superintendent for instruction.

Erb will present the plan to officials during the meeting. Following its presentation, Erb said, the plan will be made available online.

He said the state education department requires school divisions to update their plans every two years.

The board is also scheduled to recognize valedictorians and salutatorians from each of the county’s four high schools.

School board members are also expected to discuss summer meeting dates.

The school board meeting will begin a 7 p.m. in the Campbell County Technical Center.
