On the morning of Nov. 21, the Johnson Health Center will mark the opening of its new facility for women and children, then celebrate its 10th anniversary that evening.
The public is invited to an open house at the new Johnson Health Center Women & Children’s Services facility at 407 Federal St. between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The ribbon cutting for the new center is scheduled for noon.
In the evening, the health center’s 10th anniversary will be celebrated with a black tie dinner and dance at the Holiday Inn Select in downtown Lynchburg.
The evening includes presentation of the first annual Dr. Peter Houck Health Services Award. The Almost Brothers Band will provide the music.
Seating begins at 6:30 p.m.
