“... Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For the measure you give will be the measure you get back.” (Luke 6: 38 Revised Standard Version)
Recently, we have been bombarded with how awful the economy is. I have noticed many of us buy into that consensus consciousness. We agree with the pundits, media and the economists, and with what they are telling us. As a result, this is what we experience. I know that this is not the truth.
“The Truth is that prosperity is the consciousness of God as the abundant, everywhere-present resource, unfailing, ready for all who open themselves through faith to divine ideas. Divine ideas are the energy of God pressing into material form through each of us as humankind.
If it is true that everything is energy — and I believe that this is scientific fact — then our consciousness has to attract the energy of thought patterns that produce our prosperity. Prosperity cannot appear in an “ain’t it awful” or lack thought pattern.
Prosperity is a rich state of mind. It is the enrichment that we each gain, both inwardly and outwardly, through the right use of divine ideas.
Inwardly, we build a foundation as a fundamental optimism about life, a sure confidence of our ability to do a good job, a curiosity and desire to learn new things, and a desire to give of our talents and abilities. All of this comes out of a sense of security in our relationship with God.
Just as prosperity is more than material things, giving is much more than giving money. Money happens to be the energy we use for outer enrichment. Money is used for food, clothing, housing, entertainment, etc. Giving includes money, but it is so much more. It is the tapping into the divine ideas of love, understanding, wisdom, etc., and bringing these ideas into expression through our relationships, our work and play, and into our communities. What we give is ourselves. Why do we hold back?
Once we have accepted the Truth that God’s abundance is available to every person, we will discover that we have unlimited supply to give. In its true sense, our work is the process by which we release into constructive, worthwhile activities the God ideas that are our divine inheritance. This process begins first, in the thinking/feeling phases of our mind, and then continues through our words and actions.
I believe that right now, our work as conscious human beings is to release any thoughts of lack and fear, and to begin to express thoughts and actions of abundance by giving ourselves in service to this world.

If she can get her congregation to buy into it, she won’t feel the economic crunch.
This is all about brain washing folks into thinking that if they keep on sending 10% of all their earnings into her church, the god in the sky will rain pennies from heaven down on them all.

Prosperity ? What this woman is describing is a lobotomy! And now, for a little “Junk Science”...“our consciousness has to attract the energy of thought patterns that produce our prosperity.“ Right. So light some incense, put the pyramid on your head and lay out the crystals… Baby, you ain’t seen nothing yet!
